Sunny Saturday @ Stanberg + Buchheim

http://www.buchheimmuseum.de/img/vita/vita_37_330.jpg

Saturday was the most beautiful day in München, ever. It was gorgeous weather out so Mum, Jaishree aunty and I utilized it by going to the Stanberg Lake.

We took a ferry to the Buchheim Museum, apparently designed based on the idea of a (yellow?) submarine. They had the COOLEST pop-posters ever, which I believe were created by L. Buchheim himself.. The posters are called Pi Pa Pop posters and upon seeing them, any friend of mine who knows anything about my style would know that they look like something that I would absolutely love.

When I'm a rich architect , Im going to make a Pi Pa Pop House and it will be dedicated to them. Each room will be a different poster theme which will related itself to the program (activity which will happen in the room), and everything will be changeable and moveable so that if the program changes, the poster can also change or be moved... More on that architectural idea later, but now, Pi Pa Pop! (below)

if ANYONE knows where and how I can go about begining to purchase these, PLEASE tell me. This will be the first art I ever buy, next to something painted by Jen Nels or my mom.

Below are not the most astounding of the PiPaPOP collection, but they are a simple taste of what the collection is about..
