Sunny Saturday.. But where is the beach?

Saturday was beautiful and I actually got a little home sick because I all I seiroiusly wanted to do was go to the beach. That was the first time I actually missed Orange County! Lol seriously that place is only good for its beaches. And my fam cuz I love them. I did a little laundry which I HUNG TO DRY because it seems as though most Germans don't believe in having dryers. Which is good because they use up so much energy, but it sucks when ur washing jeans because then they get all hard and stiff when u leave them hanging to dry.
At least its not like in India though where the air is SO MOIST that shit takes forever to dry and then still feel and smells a little wet when you put it on later…

Anyways I got ver my homesickness after I hung out with Koko that night. She is such a sweetheart : ) We went over to Sendlinger tor and watched “not a surf“ in an open air concert! they r on the garden state soundtrack..We met some really funny germans that night hahaha… It started to rain so I pulled out my trusty umbrella and the german 45 year old next to me asked to share. its pretty big so I was like ok fine. then he kept going on in german and I was like “vie bitte?“ As if if he repeated himself I would know exactly what he was talking about. NOT.
I finally told him I don't speak german and he asked me if I was Italian… or Spanish.. or Arab..
…none of the above buddy.
45 yr old: “so where is the umbrella from?
me: munich
him: where is the owner of the umbrella from?
me: lol, California
him: (pointing to his friends in front of him who he was holding the umbrella over) do u know them?
me: nope
him: oh, I thought u did because ur umbrella is kind of over them
me: because you are holding it.

Koko and I kindly took my umbrella back and walked closer to the stage..


Because we were talking in English, another guy behind us asked koko where we were from.
koko: im from munich
him: oh.
me: where r u from?
him: munich
me: oh.
him: where are you from?
me: California
him: COOL!!!!!!!

hahaha.. turned out he had just returned from studying abroad in santa Barbara. I told him he f*d up cuz he was missing out on Halloween there!!
