The Germans lost the Euro Cup :(

It was a sad sad evening in Germany that night.

But, the day wasnt so bad...

The excitement in München was tangible. I was at the bier garden near the Chinese Term at English Garden. It was a beautiful day and everyone was drunk and happy. Julia, Julia, myself, Jan Jarod and Ericka met up to drink some beer before we went over to the Olympic stadium to catch the game at the Public viewing.

My mom and Jaishree Aunty even went!! Jan was disappointed they didnt go to the beer garden before haha.. but i dont think my mom couldve handled that much beer. and it was a little hot, so...

The U-Bahn was FILLED with people heading over to the stadium around 5. When we got there I had to stay back to wait a bit for my mom ( i had no more $ in my fone so jan let me borrow his, but since it was in german and since im stupid i couldnt figure out how to work it.. i accidently clicked a button while i was holding it, and then i clicked another button that i thought would clear it, but it didnt and took me to like mp3's or something. hahaha.. THEN i was like " i know! ill turn it off and turn it back on." but THEN i needed a pin to get his phone to turn back on, so i completely fail at using german phones. )

so i finally found my mom and then jarod called my phone so it all worked out just fine. we somehow found each other at the stadium.. i bought a beer ( a great combination with antibiotics) and took a seat. lol it was so hot that jaishree aunty used jan's shadow as shade hahaha... (thanks jani man! hahahahaha...) The stadium was filled to the brim with German fans ( and even a few spanish ones)


there was this chick sitting in front of us and we borrowed some sun screen from her. i put soooo much on my nose but STILL got a sunglasses tan.. yuck. im waering makeup for the rest of the week to cover that shit up.

we also borrowed that crayonie stuff that you put on ur face to make the flag. julia put it on for me and i put it on for jan, but i did it backwards hahahhaa (oops). hopefully thats not why germany lost...

anyway... THE GAME

so lets be honest here. the german team really didnt play all that well. i was pretty disappointed in shweinsteiger. i thought he could do much better than he did. he wasnt even aiming the ball when he was kicking it towards the goal, he just kicked it! practically without even looking. now thats sad shweiny. not cute.

and BALLACK had PROMISED a goal to us. what happened??!? lose ur balls, ballack???!

sigh... and LEEMAN. ifo nly u had stopped that ONE GOAL. i still cant believe the spaniards won... but after over 40 years of having NOT won, i guess they deserved this one.

the germans were soooo sadd..... ericka was like, its times like this that im glad im not actually german. hahaha... seriously though. im not even german and i was pretty sad, so if I actually WAS i wouldve been REALLY sad... and jan didnt even move.. i felt really bad. jan: i hope that when u got home and u looked at urself in the mirror u at least laughed a little bit because ur flag was upside down. hahaha......







im going to berlin with my mom this weekend :D and we're staying at hotel q! holy shit i am so excited!! i love graft. i want to work for them.
